No, start at the beginning of that sentence. Before Jaune's mind, his own doubts can pull him down and leave him spiraling out of control, he goes over what Scott said and calms down.]

His beams are back now that the event is over but eyes hidden or not, anybody looking at Scott would notice how much Jaune’s words hurt. He was expecting some resentment from the other teen but not the viciousness and the confirmation that Jaune was only interested in him for one reason.

Scott should have known better. Who would like for his personality, anyway? He feels his cheeks grow hot as Jaune goes on, not interrupting because he’s not even sure what to say. Besides, Scott had been the one visiting Jaune’s dream, it was his fault.]
