[ It's entirely possible she intentionally waited until he was eating to ask that. She's not even sure if she wants him to answer positively, but what's it going to hurt? He doesn't have to know she's a virgin too, but if they're both just... [Jaune's more of the type of person to try and encourage people to abate their anxiety, rather than tell them what to worry about. Not that he would guess Emerald has much anxiety right now. She at least seems more confident than him.

[ She's also a much better liar than he is. Emerald walks backward so she can grab another slice out of the box while Jaune's holding it to eat while she walks. ]

[ For example, she walks up to the WaysPoint and gets her device out to activate it. As she does, he's just going to see an image of her completely naked as she walks through town. It isn't like anyone else can see it, so it's completely safe. Buuuut she can definitely tease him with it. ]

[ The illusion stops, but mostly because she's using the WaysPoint now to get up to the Skyhouse Network, then waiting for Jaune to follow to the apartments that literally hover over the city. ]

[He mumbles more to himself, intentionally missing the point. It's awkward and difficult to have a conversation with her when he keeps glancing at her breasts. There's a prominent bulge in his pants that normally isn't there.

He hands her his device. Even though the illusion has stopped, its done its job. He can't stop thinking about her and what they're about to do. He's certain they couldn't arrive any faster. He follows after her, closing in on her side and not touching, not yet, but closer than he was before.]

[ Emerald activates the teleport, reaching down as if she's going to grab him through his pants, her hand a hair's length away when it activates and they're suddenly at her front door. She turns to unlock it, raising her voice to check if Mercury's home before inviting Jaune in. ]

Merc? [ No response. He was at work. Thankfully. She didn't know how to explain this and was glad she wouldn't have to yet. She gestures for Jaune to come in, the apartment being actually really really nice, but he won't get much of a look at it as she drags him over to her room. ] Come on.

But if you ever want to end it on that note, I'd prefer not to.

[He looks offended, about to ask what that's supposed to mean, but then she's reaching straight for his pants and he inhales sharply before any contact is made--

And then they're at her front door. He looks so cross about the whole thing, fidgeting restlessly and following her in. Once he's dragged to her room, he looks around at the new surroundings.]
