Jacques isn't actually too far from the Skyrise and arrives there around ten minutes after Jaune's last text to him. It's his first time there without Weiss to escort him in, so he has to ask the secretary for directions to his office. Once he finds it, he knocks on the door, waiting patiently outside. With any luck the secretary downstairs was competent enough to ring him and let him know to expect Jacques.]

Jaune opens the door to reveal this song being blasted in the background. He's not in his armor, so Jacques gets to see a newer version of his Pumpkin Pete hoodie that actually fits him, along with a visible but narrow scar across his neck. His desk is a chaotic mess of random papers, a plate of half-finished pancakes, energy drinks, and some bamboo. Everything else is pretty much as he described. It's not nearly as organized as Weiss's, and it looks very lived-in. There's also what appears to be dog chew toys and dog food and water bowls, but there are no animals currently around.]

[And then he sees the trainwreck that is Jaune's office and he looks very uncomfortable. This was who was protecting the city? It looked like he couldn't even protect himself against ants! Did Weiss knowingly allow him to maintain his office in such a state? ]

I hardly see how we'll be able to discuss business if I have earplugs in. [Though he's starting to suspect that's the point. Still, Jaune is the closest thing he has to any alley right now, so unfortunately he has to at least attempt to schmoo him his way.]
Tell you what: why don't we discuss this over lunch, my treat? You can have a taste of some of those finer meals we spoke about. There's a great bistro down the road.
